Tips for studying abroad in the Philippines

Prepare the necessary documents to submit an application for admission to your school and your field of study: academic records, self-referral letters, notarized documents, interview participation, tuition payment, applying for a student visa to the Philippines,... Opening a Philippine domestic bank account helps to save you money.

Other notes: It is recommended to store the addresses, phone numbers, and contact information of the school, the person who picked you up at the airport or relatives, the Vietnamese Student Association in the Philippines, and the emergency numbers (police, ambulance,...) Bring along electronic items such as laptop, camera, cell phone (with important numbers saved), hairdryer, iron, rechargeable battery and charger, and a Philippine voltage transformer (220 voltage, all plugs with 2 pins, square and round shape).

If you stay for 8 weeks or more for learning purposes after applying for a visa in Vietnam, every month the school will renew your visa.
